My formal training was in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), and further studied aspects of Five Elements Acupuncture, Japanese, Korean, Cranial Sacral Acupuncture, MyoFascial Acupuncture, Guasha, Fire Cupping, Chinese Herbal Medicine, Dr Tan / Master Tung Style.

My Journey:

I am a strong proponent for Alternative and Complementary Therapies and feel I would not be in the shape that I am if I had followed what the medical profession had to offer. I am in my 60s and feel like I am in better health than when I was in my early 30s.

For more than 5 years, I struggled (and was on and off a variety of medications) with chronic sinus infections. I felt disabled when dealing with the pain. It was hard to concentrate or function at work and the constant pain interrupted my daily life. Often my sinus pressure would trigger debilitating Migraines (something I battled from a young age).

With one round of 10 sessions of Acupuncture for my sinus infections, I was off all sinus medication and for 30 years since, have only had one sinus-type headache (which was actually very mild). You can imagine…this was nothing short of a miracle for me!

I began having migraine headaches at the age of 17, which continued to disrupt my daily life at work, home, and at times I would get migraines during my sleep. Often I would wake up with them and be unable to lift my head without being thrown into another one, like a loop of migraines, this could go on for several days.

I once found myself parked on the side of the road, less than a block from my home, weeping and terrified with no idea where I was. If the police had stopped, they, surely, would have put me in a mental institution because, I could not form a sentence, I did not know my name, did not know where I was going, nor could I drive, let alone walk. I felt alone and helpless. I was incapacitating to say the least by a migraine.

My medical doctor had been prescribing various Migraine medications without resolve, then I discovered Herbal and Nutritional Therapies, after nearly 30 years of suffering, I am ecstatic to be prescription free and nearly Migraine free since the early 2000's.

In addition, in 1995, I was presented with the disheartening news of being diagnosed with an autoimmune disease of the thyroid. The doctors told me it was incurable and would only get worse which did not paint a pretty picture. I was prescribed drugs to relieve the symptoms but, after a few months of taking increasing amounts of the drug, I came to the conclusion that they were causing my thyroid to completely shut down and it seemed the drugs would eventually take the place of the thyroid on some level (since it was not required to function).

I was in my early 40s and in pretty good physical shape at the time, I routinely worked out and had followed a healthy diet. I dreaded the idea of ending up like the classic thyroid patient with the thick neck and thick body. (2005)

I have personally had amazing results with alternative medicine and have seen many more amazing outcomes with patients. It is my mission to offer as many alternative therapies I can gather to help others leave their issues behind and get on with life.

I have been told I am a medical intuitive and not your ordinary therapist. I routinely see patients avoid drugs and surgery after being treated. I am a big believer of informing my patients the why and how things work so they can make better choices and help themselves.

I utilize remote muscle testing, which I work with to scan energetic pathways in patients all over the world and help them find solutions to interruptions or blockages I find and resolve their health issues. I developed this remote testing ability over time, by combining my evolving medical intuition (which developed from practicing Reiki Master level) with manual muscle testing techniques I have studied.

As an alternative therapist, I have developed my own way of looking at things from outside-the-box for the true root cause. I have observed over the years, my home-made explanations of how the body works by observing different processes, proven or explored in pubmed studies. Proving what I have been telling patient for decades.

My college thesis was on connective tissue and it's involvement in what makes Acupuncture work. Now we know that the acupuncture meridians flow with the electrolyte fluid which moves through the connective tissue, however during that time, my classmates had no clue what connective tissue was and our instructors made Acupuncture out to be mystical, rather than offering any scientific explanation. This mysticism was widely accepted in the field. Energy exchange and electrons were part of some woo woo therapy which had no validity to modern medicine so Acupuncture was never given the credit it deserved...Activating hormones, stimulating stem cells, etc. is only dabbling in what Acupuncture does.

The year following graduation there was a symposium on fascia and Acupuncture. It was the beginning of a new way of thinking.

Since that time many of my theories have been clinically proven or supported so much it is hard to deny their validity.

I use my common sense, my inate intuition, along with my education to connect the dots and help people that the medical profession have given up on. These are my favorite cases.
