Muscle Testing (Specialized Applied Kinesiology)

 

If you have seen other alternative therapist you might have experienced this type of testing which is a kind of test of electrical conduction involving muscles. When the body is exposed to a stressor, the electrical current of the body can be interrupted, causing a challenged muscle to “weaken” or not “hold” . (A type of manual bio-feedback). Generally the therapist chooses a strong muscle to do this testing like the deltoid muscle.

 

Remote Muscle Testing

Early on when working with patients, I discovered it was difficult for me to perform muscle testing on patients that had never been tested before. I found the patients would engage other muscles to brace the testing muscle even though I thought I explained the concept, it was not working well for me. 

I started experimenting with muscle testing remotely. Being an attuned Reiki Master, I had been opened up to the ability to work remotely on people but I was not prepared for what was about to happen that would completely change my practice.

As I started combining my Reiki ability to work remotely doing muscle testing on friends and family, I began to acquire positive feedback on what I uncovered in the test. But with all things, your friends and family can be overly supportive in order to not discourage, so I somewhat felt it was good feedback, however I wanted more unbiased feedback. 

One day I received a call from a friend who had moved across the country from me. She was very concerned about a friend of hers who had been sent home by his team of medical doctors to “get his affairs in order”  after a month of testing. He had starting loosing 1 lb a day for 60 days and counting. He was in the construction business, was in mid 40’s with children, in pretty good physical shape and not overweight when all this started. Knowing I was working with remote muscle testing, she asked if I would test him to see what I could find.

I was able to get a connection through my friend (I compare this connection to a telephone line like a party line, first I had to connect to my friend and then I went through my friend to her friend as if she had him on another line…like a conference call)

Ok, this is where I tell people that I REALLY HAVE NO IDEA how I do it. I just seem to be able to feel a connection and then I am able to begin testing.

Much to my surprise, I actually found very little…he was deficient in one supplement was needed and an emotional issue was a “blockage” or interrupting the flow of energy in the body. I then thought I was not successful in the connection so I asked that she have him call me. When I had him on the phone, I redid my muscle test “scan” and found the same answers. We did the emotional release over the phone after I muscle tested to find the cause of the blockage, then I mailed the nutritional supplement. I then waited to hear back, with not much confidence because I believed if it was that simple, surely all the medical doctors he had seen and all the medical tests he had gone through, would have uncovered such a simple answer. 

That is the danger with the medical profession, they have so much technology, and we believe it is the only way to get valid information. We doubt anything that is not a machine. We even doubt our own intuition on some level. I certainly did not have a lot of medical equipment or a western medical degree. I was a mere Acupuncturist…One week later, was a turning point in my practice. 

My friend called me to report that her friend had received the supplement and started taking it right away. It was not the 3rd day and had gained one pound every day, so 3 lbs.

I was slightly impressed but felt it was a bit early to say hurray it worked but then my friend said….ok you don’t seem to understand…he has not lost 3 lbs, so that is like 6 lbs.

Now, I paused to consider what she said and agreed that was pretty impressive. I asked to be kept in the loop of progress but after several weeks, had not heard back. Fearful we had celebrated to early, I sent an email asking how her friend was doing. Again, I was taken back by the answer…he had continued to gain 1 lb a day and was gaining his health back, had started hiking again and his life was getting back to normal.

A year later, he was still with good health.
